HUGE THANKS TO THE SOUL DYNAMIC FOR THE LIVE SHOW REVIEW AT GLASSLANDS! WE HAD A BLAST!
Entering the lounge we quickly found out that Dynasty Electric’s version of rock is potent high-powered pure energy. When Jenny Electrik’s (yes, her real name, how appropriate) voice meets Seth Misterka’s guitar, it’s time to break out your dancing shoes. Even with their track “Spell of Time,” where they give a little nod to the Steve Miller Band classic “Fly Like an Eagle,” they still managed to rip it. And rip it hard.

To be honest with you, we really had no idea what to expect. We were running on empty man, but Dynasty Electric brought a certain life-fuel to the party that was definitely wanted, and certainly needed if we were going to go on. We knew we were back in the groove though when they went into “Electric Love,” and when the lyrics, “Set the dance floor on fire,” were put out into the atmosphere, that’s exactly what the Williamsburgh community did. Infusing Zeppelin soul, with Debbie Harry bravado and a touch of Skrillex dubstep — Dynasty Electric is positioning themselves as a band with threat level “severe” capabilities (that’s the red one). Keep an eye out.
